Recipe for Detoxing

Spa Fresh

Unfortunately, there's no escaping these flab-packing chemicals that can be found in foods, cosmetics, household cleaners, soaps, medications, plastics, furniture, car exhaust and even water since chlorine is a xenoestrogen. So what happens to the body when these xenoestrogens build up in our system? They can cause fatigue, irritability, foggy thinking, and stubborn weight gain. Our liver can flush out a number of toxins, but with the normal person being bombarded with chemicals in everyday life, the liver can't keep up. That's when we need to help the body release these through exercise, diet and proactive research.

STEP 1: EXERCISE:
A brisk 20-minute walk or the equivalent exercise each day is key to overcoming estrogen dominance. It speeds the flow of lymph, the fluid that carries xenoestrogens and trapped fat to the liver for elimination. For best results, exercise to a point of a good sweat and breathe deeply. Think of the stomach and lungs as a large balloon that is filling up with air and slowly push the air out with every exhale. Most people that feel breathless during exercise often breath from their chest creating short quick movements that doesn't allow the oxygen to get into the body.

STEP 2: FORTIFY & STIMULATE
For one week, follow this daily food formula to fortify your liver and stimulate your digestive tract to eliminate stored xenoestrogens.

Consume 1 serving of Cruciferous Vegetable - Like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and Brussel Sprouts that boost the liver's ability to convert xenoestrogens and other toxins into water-soluble molecules that can be easily flushed from the body.

STEP 3: 24 HOUR DETOX
After week one, your digestive tract has been fortified and with daily exercise the stored xenoestrogens are beginning to be eliminated from the body. Remaining xenoestrogens can be quickly flushed during a 24-hour juice diet. As with any health diet or exercise plan please consult a physician before starting.

For 24 hours you will drink one glass of juice (recipe below) or filtered water each waking

Spa Fresh hour. Mix ground flaxseed or psyllium husk into your first and last drinks of the day to supply your colon with toxin-binding fiber. During this time no solid foods should be eaten.

Drink one glass each hour that you are awake and you can supplement your cravings (if any) with distilled water. The recipe makes 64oz which is enough for one day.
